PLT Rope thrower

With a dry and clean line, the minimum launching distance is 230 meters for the R 230 Projectile and 115 meters with the 150 Projectile. All parts are re-useable
The R230 Projectile has installed 270 meters of line. The line has a breaking strength of 2000N (204kg).
The 150 Projectile has a rubber tip to protect and minimize impact when landing. The Line has a breaking strength of 3432N (350kg).
If the air cylinder is filled up to 300 bar (4350 psi), it will supply the base unit with enough air to perform 6 max pressure launches. Charged to 200 bar (2900 psi), you will have 4 max pressure launches.
For filling to 300 bar (4350 psi), simply connect the air cylinder to a standard scuba diving (breathing air) compressor with standard 5/8″ threads according to DIN 477.
For filling from a 200-bar compressor, Art. No. 1308 Yoke (DIN477) and claw adapter Art.no 1315 is needed to connect the Air cylinder and compressor.
Technical data:
Range: Minimum 230 meters (252 yards)
Rope pulling force: The minimum is 2000 Newtons
Rope thickness: 3.2 millimeters
Rear seat force: Maximum 5400 Newtons
Flight time: Approximately 4 seconds
application scenarios:
Maritime rescue: PLT rope throwers R-150 and R-230 rescue models are mainly used for maritime rescue and lifesaving, especially for quickly launching ropes in emergency situations to help rescue personnel approach distressed persons or equipment
Backup vessel operation: PLT rope thrower is suitable for rapid response operation of backup vessels, and can be quickly deployed in emergency situations to ensure the safety and stability of the vessel
Offshore industrial applications: In the offshore industry, PLT rope throwers are used to transfer load-bearing cables from FPSOs (floating production storage and offloading vessels) to oil tankers, ensuring smooth industrial operations
