1. The cartridge body is constructed of steel with either zinc, nickel or Electroless nickel plating available as optional.

2. Internal cartridge components are constructed of carbon steel leaded alloy

Corrosion-Resistant Stainless Steel Cartridges

1. The cartridge body is constructed of lean duplex stainless steel.

2. Adjustment screws are constructed of one or more of the following:

  • Titanium
  • Silicon brass

3. Jam nuts, stop rings, and assorted controls constructed of stainless steel.

4. Internal cartridge components constructed of carbon steel leaded alloys.

Corrosion-Resistant Zinc-Nickel Plated Cartridges

1. Cartridge body, adjustment screws, jam nuts, and stop rings include the following:

  • High-performance corrosion protection plating per SAE AMS 2417
  • Salt fog protection of 1000 hours minimum to red rust over all external surfaces

2. exposed to atmosphere (Salt fog test per ASTM B117 or ISO 9227 5% saline)

  • Light metal gray plating color (may have yellow to purple hue and may vary from cartridge to cartridge)

3. Internal cartridge components constructed of carbon steel leaded alloys.
